Connect this browser once. Import new messages when you choose, from a signed-in Contatta contact.
1. Activate your add-on account
Sign in to the app website and generate a five-minute activation code.
2. Pair the local companion
Start the local companion. Generate a browser pairing code on its phone setup page. This is different from the app activation code.
3. Use inside Contatta
Open a signed-in contact page. Choose Import WhatsApp, link the right conversation, review messages and import the selected Notes.
Each Note starts with a WhatsApp label and retains the original date and sender. It stays in Contatta after you close the add-on.
WhatsApp sessions and message history stay on your computer. AWS stores your add-on account and device activation only.
